MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The third-ranked Nova Southeastern Women's Golf team kicked off action at the Buccaneer Invitational on Monday. NSU (+2) currently has the lead in the 12-team field. Ellen Andersson (-6) and Olivia Gronborg (-4) lead the individual leaderboard, sitting in first and second place respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Ellen Andersson got the day started with three consecutive pars before recording a birdie four times in her last six holes in round one. Andersson wasn't done yet, ending her day with consecutive birdies in round two to put her in the lead at –6.

Gronborg (-4) was impressive on the course, recording a birdie and three pars in her first four holes. Gronborg would continue her stellar play throughout the day and secure 2nd place heading into tomorrow's final round.

Haruka Muta (+4), and Ellen Ramstedt (+8), and Emma Larsen (+18) are all inside the top-50 after round one and two of the competition.
