EUREKA, MO. – Olivia Grønborg made history on Thursday evening, becoming the fourth Nova Southeastern Shark Women's Golfer to win the individual NCAA Division II National Championship. Grønborg shot (-6) over three rounds, winning the title by four strokes.
In addition to earning the individual NCAA National Championship, Grønborg was also honored as the WGCA Freshman of the Year and received First-Team All-American recognition.

Following completion of three rounds of stroke play, the third-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks have qualified for match play rounds of the NCAA National Championship.
Olivia Grønborg (-6) battled back-and-forth with Olivia Mitchell (Dallas Baptist) throughout the day, as both student-athletes were the top two players entering the round and paired together. After struggling to find her groove after five holes, Grønborg settled in with a birdie on six followed by three consecutive pars to end the front nine. The freshman added a pair of birdies on the back-nine and sealed the national title with a par on 18.
Emma Larsen (+4) finished the tournament tied for 14
th place and recorded five birdies in the final round.
Ellen Andersson wrapped up action in the stroke play rounds of the NCAA National Championship at (+6) for the tournament.
Ellen Ramstedt jumped 20 spots up the leader board with her best round of the tournament. Ramstedt had her best round of the tournament, ending the day at 74 and tallying three birdies.
Haruka Muta added her second 78 of the tournament.

Ellen Andersson and Olivia Grønborg were recognized ohas WGCA Division II All-South Region honorees.

Heather Wall - I am so proud of Olivia and how she handled the pressure of playing for a National Championship with the lead. She fought hard, stayed confident and never stopped believing in herself. She has had an amazing year and this is just icing on the cake. I couldn't be happier for her.
It's a huge accomplishment making it to matchplay and I am so proud of the girls. This is what we work all year for. The competition is very strong but we are up to the challenge and ready to compete and tee it up tomorrow.
