OCALA, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's and Women's Swimming teams continued competition at the 2024 Sunshine State Conference Championships on Thursday night in Ocala, Florida. The Sharks earned three gold medals, six silver medals, and four bronze medals. The Women's team remains in first after two days, while the Men's team sits a few points behind Tampa in second place.

(Women's)
- The Sharks dominated from the jump, taking first through fourth in the 1000 Freestyle. Emily Trieschmann captured the gold medal, finishing with a time of 9:45.27. In second place, with a time of 9:50.74, was Hailey Williams. Coming in third place was Estelle Bauer with a time of 10:01.81. Then rounding out the top four, Neta Shiff took fourth with a time of 10:04.28.
- In the 200 Individual Medley, Emilia Ronningdal secured the gold medal, narrowly beating teammate May Lowy. Ronningdal finished with a time of 2:00.27, and Lowy finished with a time of 2:00.70.
- Maya Esparza placed third in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 23.06.
- In the 200 Medley Relay, the group of Mollie Morfelt, Hannah Montgomery, Rafaela Raurich, and Esparza finished in second place with a time of 1:40.57.

(Men's)
- In the 1000 Freestyle, Luca Alessandrini won the gold medal with a time of 9:02.87. Securing the silver medal, with a time of 9:05.21, was Keith Peristeridis.
- Inigo Marina captured second place in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 1:48.74. Thomas Flower placed third, finishing just 0.19 seconds after Marina.
- With a time of 19.77, Marcel Snitko finished in second place in the 50 Freestyle.
- Gustav Henriksen, Marina, Rhett Moore, and Snitko took third in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:28.18.

The Sharks return to pool in Ocala, FL on February 16th for day three of the Sunshine State Conference Championships. Events scheduled for day three include the 100 Butterfly, 400 Individual Medley, 200 Freestyle, and 400 Medley Relay. Prelims begin at 10:00AM, followed by the finals at 6:00PM.
