GENEVA, OH. - After three days at the NCAA National Championships, the Nova Southeastern Women's Swimming team continued their strong performance, adding two more national titles and bringing their total to four for the meet. Marcel Snitko collected the first national championship for the meet for the Men's team in the 200 Freestyle. As a whole, the Sharks had five additional podium finishers. Through three days, the Women's team remains in first, and the Men's team remains in sixth.

(Women's)

• Rafaela Raurich opened the day on a fast start, collecting the national championship in the 100 Fly with a time of 53.16.
• In the 400 Individual Medley, May Lowy took third place with a time of 4:15.55.
• Setting a new SSC and NSU record with a time of 1:45.60, Emily Trieschmann collected the national championship in the 200 Freestyle. Coming in fifth was Raurich, who finished with a time of 1:48.15. Then finishing just .36 seconds behind her was Emilia Ronningdal, who placed sixth.
• In the 400 Medley Relay, the group of Maria Goncalves, Hannah Montgomery, Raurich, and Trieschmann took second with a time of 3:38.98.

(Men's)

• In the 200 Freestyle, Marcel Snitko captured the first national championship for the Men's team this year. Snitko finished with a time of 1:34.64. Thomas Flower placed third, finishing with a time of 1:35.37. 

The Sharks return to pool in Geneva, OH on March 15th for the fourth day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving National Championships. Events scheduled for day four include 500 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Fly, and 200 Freestyle Relay. Prelims begin at 10:00AM, followed by the finals at 5:30PM.
