MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Men's and Women's Cross-Country teams competed at the STU Bobcat Invitational on Saturday evening. On the women's side, NSU finished in third place with four top-20 finishers including Bella Ascone, who placed 12th. On the Men's side, the Sharks did not place. 
    

(Women's 5k)      

• Bella Ascone placed 12th, running 21:33.9.  

• Maggie Ragsdale placed in the top 20, running 21:59.9.     

• Meghan McNabb placed in the top 20 as well, running 22:07.0 
   

(Men's 8k)      

• Ryan Elfring was NSU's best finisher (25th/30:29.8). 

• Isaac Maldonado and Evan Crisp completed the top three runners for the Sharks.   
   
      

The Sharks will be back in action on Friday, Sep. 27 for the FSU XC Invitational.
