ROME, GA. - Kristyna Hranacova and Katja Markus have won the ITA Cup Doubles National Championship.

Hranacova and Markus opened Thursday's competition with a (6-2, 6-2) victory over Katarina Liedbeck and Roisin Boyd (Adelphi University) in the Round of 16. The duo followed with a second dominant performance on Friday, defeating Harding University's Karli Roux and Brooke Coffman (6-0, 7-6 (7-5)) in the Quarterfinals. Moving on to the Semifinals on Saturday, Hranacova and Markus battled with Saint Leo's Candice Bernier and Catherine Rabatin (7-6 (7-3), 6-0). The tandem took home the ITA Cup Doubles title on Sunday afternoon, defeating Barry University's Dana Heimen and Anastasia-Aleksandra Nikolova (6-3, 6-2).
