FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla – The Division II Conference Commissioners (D2 CCA) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released their respective All-Region teams on Wednesday afternoon. The Sharks senior middle blocker
Olivia Aniol was named to the first-team all-south region in the AVCA, while also earning second-team all-south region honors by the D2 CCA. Aniol has now been selected to both teams in consecutive seasons.
Aniol finished the 2025 season with 243 kills, 2.25 kills-per-set, and a 0.275 attack percentage. Defensively Aniol anchored the Sharks once again, totaling a team-high 118 total blocks, 97 block assists, and 21 solo blocks, finishing second on the team with 1.09 blocks-per-set. Aniol also finished the regular season with the second most total blocks and block assists in the Sunshine State Conference, and finishing fourth in the SSC in solo blocks and blocks-per-set.
In her four seasons with NSU Aniol has totaled 791 kills, 1.91 kills-per-set, 0.295 attack percentage, 456 total blocks, 380 block assists, 1.10 blocks-per-set, and 1,090 points. Where Aniol ranks 2
nd all-time in program history in attacking percentage, total blocks, and blocks-per-set.
Taylor Stockman the Sharks senior right-side hitter and a Third-Team All-Sunshine State Conference representative, was named an Honorable Mention to the AVCA All-South Region team. Stockman ended the regular season first in points (390.5) and points-per-set (3.55) and second on the Sharks in kills (310), kills-per-set (2.82). Defensively, Stockman recorded 288 digs, while averaging 2.62 per-set and accumulated 91 total blocks. This marks Stockman's third AVCA All-South Region selection.
