HUNTSVILLE, Al. – The Nova Southeastern University Sharks Volleyball team concluded a perfect trip to St. Petersburg with a 3-0 victory over Edward Waters University to finish the Triton Invite.

• The first set opened with a 4-1 run for the Sharks with points coming from Brantley Chipley and Erika Spankus.
• Consecutive points from Taylor Stockman with a kill and a block assisted by Olivia Aniol put the Sharks ahead 6-2.
• Taylor Stockman and Olivia Aniol each recorded points to push the score 8-3.
• The Sharks took the score to 11-6 with consecutive kills by Erika Spankus.
• A seven-point scoring run with points from Taylor Stockman, Brantley Chipley, and Erika Spankus took the Sharks advantage to 18-7.
• Natalya Bergant put up back-to-back points as the Sharks lead grew to 22-9.
• Madelyn Hooper and Natalya Bergant each tallied points to close out the set with a 25-12 score.
• Beginning the second set, the Sharks led 3-1 with a block by Madelyn Hooper and Natalya Bergant, and a service ace by Erika Spankus.
• Points from Abbie Roth, Hadley Dantzler, and Caiden Largent put the Sharks ahead 9-5.
• The Sharks pulled ahead once again with a score 12-9, by taking advantage of a pair of Tigers errors and a kill by Erika Spankus.
• Madelyn Hooper and Abbie Roth tallied points to push the lead to 15-10.
• The Sharks recorded five consecutive points from Erika Spankus and Caiden Largent, as the Sharks took the score to 20-11.
• Kills from Natalya Bergant, Hadley Dantzler, and Caiden Largent finished the second set with a final score of 25-12.
• The Sharks began the third set with a quick 3-2 lead.
• Natalya Bergant tallied a pair of points to even the score at 5-5.
• The Sharks and Tigers exchanged points, taking the score to 9-9.
• The Sharks took control with a six-point run, with a pair of points coming from Natalya Bergant, as the score reached 15-11.
• Brooke Spurgeon tallied a pair of points in service, Madelyn Hooper and Cami Kelsay each added points as the Sharks led 19-15.
• The Sharks continued to benefit from miscues, adding to their lead at 23-17.
• The Sharks finished the match with a score of 25-18.
