ORLANDO, Fla. – Seven runners for Nova Southeastern Men's and Women's Track have been named to the All-Sunshine State Conference teams, the conference announced Thursday morning.
Named to the All-SSC First Team for individual events:
Sativa James for the 400m while
Rebekah Christie,
Bella Butler and
Sativa James in the 200m were named to the All-SSC Second Team for individual events.
The women's 4x400m relay team consisting of
Bella Butler,
Jasmine Davies,
Aaliyah Jordan and
Sativa James was also named to the All-SSC Second Team for relay events.
On the men's side,
Jaime Blazquez was named to the All-SSC Second Team for his performance in the 1500m.
A SSC Individual Champion in the 400m,
Sativa James has been the lifeblood of the Sharks' sprinters culminating in a three-time All-SSC selection with her First Team and Second Team individual event selections in the 400m and 200m, respectively. James also added an All-SSC Second Team relay events selection for her participation in the 4x400m.
All seven selected NSU runners have made their way onto the NSU Track record books with times set throughout the season.
