FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern men's and women's cross country will compete in six regular season meets in the 2026 season, NSU men's and women's cross country head coach Jonathan "JC" Carter announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The Sharks open their season on Sept. 4 at the Flagship Cross Country Invitational hosted by Keiser University in Boca Raton, Fla.

The following week NSU competes at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Saint Thomas University on Sept. 11

The Sharks then get an opportunity to impress on the big stage competing in meets hosted by Florida State University before crossing state lines to compete at the University of Notre Dame's Joe Piane Invitational in South Bend, Ind.

NSU will also compete in meets hosted by Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Fla., and the University of Alabama-Huntsville.

After regular season meets come to an end, the Sharks will compete in the Sunshine State Conference Cross Country Championships hosted in Holloway Park in Lakeland on Nov. 7.

This season's NCAA South Region Meet will be hosted in Huntsville, Ala. on Nov. 21 with the NCAA Division II National Cross Country Championship being held on Dec. 5 at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas on the campus of the University of Kansas.

NSU cross country looks for its third consecutive SSC Women's Individual Championship as Jillian Thorning has won the conference race for the last two seasons.
