Chrissy Hy had a spectacular week, allowing only one goal in two games. Half of the shots that she faced this week were shots on goal. In the first game against the No. 21 Florida Tech Panthers Hy showed spectacular poise after allowing one goal to stand ground and fight off a 10 shot second half from Florida Tech, helping the Sharks get into overtime and eventually win. Against Thomas (Ga.) Hy faced only four shots on goal, standing her ground and not allowing any close calls around the net while collecting her third shutout of the year. Hy’s saves percentage elevated to .860 on the season after this week.
