A junior transfer from St. Francis, Quinessa Johnson has had an immediate impact as a Shark.  Starting in every game in the 2010-11 season, Johnson had her best week averaging 12 points per game. On Jan. 12, the West Chester, Ohio native added 14 points and four assists. She hit 50 percent (4-for-8) of her shots against cross-town rival Barry University as the Sharks walked away with an 80-71 win.

 

Despite the loss to Eckerd, Johnson was in double-figures for the second straight game as she tallied 10. She had eight rebounds, six being offensive as the Sharks outrebounded the Tritons.

 

In both games, she was 4-for-5 from the charity stripe and is now ninth in conference games in free throw percentage.
