MARTINEZ, Ga. - Nova Southeastern women’s and track and field student-athlete, Jessica Osteen (Sr., Las Vegas, Nev.) has been selected as Peach Belt Track and Field Athlete of the week, announced by the conference office, April 9.
Osteen ran the fastest 400 meter hurdles in the PBC so far this year, reaching an NCAA provisional mark with her time of 1:00.2 at the Florida Relays. The senior won her heat and finished 16th overall in the event, which featured 46 runners, mostly from NCAA Division I schools such as Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, Texas and Vanderbilt among others. Her time is the fifth-fastest run in all of Division II this season.
