WINTER PARK, Fla. – Sophomore guard
Taylor Buie and redshirt junior forward
Jasmine Wilkins were named to the All-Sunshine State Conference women's second team, as announced by the league office on Friday.
Buie (Puyallup, Wash.) and Wilkins (Miami) are the Sharks' top two scorers, while Wilkins is the team's leading rebounder. Buie averages 15.0 points per game, while ranking among the nation's leaders in 3-pointers made and 3-point percentage (both marks lead the SSC). Wilkins is at 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds, and her 60.9 field goal percentage is second in the conference and in the top five nationwide.
The No. 10 Sharks (23-4) next play in the SSC Championships semifinal round, against Rollins on Saturday. Tipoff from the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Fla., will be at 7:30 p.m.
