SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The No. 15 Nova Southeastern University women's tennis team (1-1) suffered their first loss of the season falling to No. 12 Flagler 5-4 on Sunday afternoon at the Flagler College Tennis Center.
"It was an unbelievably close match between Flagler," Neagle said. "I give both teams credit for fighting hard the entire match. It's a long season and we have a handful of young players that will improve every match.
Luicelena Perez had a great day and set the tone for us on the number one spot."

Arina Sharonova picked up the win at No. 2 defeating Kelly Burge/Patryja Maslanka, 8-4. The Sharks nearly got the win at No. 3 doubles, but fell short, 9-7.
The Saints (1-0) tied the match 2-2 when Felicitas Runkel defeated
Isabella Lowrey 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 singles. Perez regained the Sharks lead 3-2 with a win over No. 44 Lizanne Jinkertz 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1. But Flagler would win the next three singles matches in the third, fourth, and sixth singles flights to win the match. Even though the win was out of reach,
Simone Pratt still fought and singles matches picking up her first collegiate win defeating Nanti in three sets 7-6, 6-7, 7-5 at No. 2 singles.
The Sharks travel to Valdosta State, Ga. next weekend for two matches facing Valdosta State on Friday at 2:00 p.m. and then College of Coastal Georgia on Sunday at noon.
