FORT LAUDERDALE Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University women's tennis team (8-8, 5-4 SSC) will host Sunshine State Conference provisional member, Embry-Riddle, at the NSU Tennis Complex on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. to close out the 2017 regular season.
Prior to the match, the Shark will honor three seniors,
Klaudia Boczova,
Alex Kaeser and
Luicelena Perez.
"I can't believe this is the final match of the season," head coach
Doug Neagle said. "It has been a tough journey for us but we have fought through adversity with perseverance and integrity. If we can get a win tomorrow, we will have some momentum going into the conference tournament."
With a 5-4 conference record, the Sharks need a single Saint Leo loss to lock up the fourth seed in the SSC tournament. If the Lions lose to Lynn, the Sharks will play Rollins in the first round, but if the Lions upset the Knights, the Sharks will be the fifth seed and will face Florida Southern.
