Box Score FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Freshman Alex Yeardley picked up her first collegiate win as the No. 14 Nova Southeastern women's tennis team notched their first shutout win since 2015 following a 9-0 sweep of the Southeastern University Flames at the NSU Tennis Complex on a blistering Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES:
- After a forfeit at No. 3, the Sharks quickly jumped to a 2-0 after Eva Agasse and Alex Yeardley picked up their first win as a pair defeating Nicole Backherms and Sydni Brookhouser, 8-1 at No. 2.
- Ana Navas and Isabella Lowrey secured NSU's first doubles sweep of the season with an 8-2 win against Sharienne Ricardo and Angelique Myrtil in the top spot.
SINGLES
- With empty slots at 5 and 6 singles, the Sharks secured back to back wins to improve to 2-1 on the season.
- Navas and Daniela Obando increased the lead to 7-0 following 6-0, 6-0 sweeps at No. 1 and 3 singles.
- Shortly after, Yeardley gave the Sharks an 8-0 lead after collecting her first collegiate win and the third 6-0, 6-0 shutout over Brookhouser at No. 4.
- Andrea Ivanovic secured the first 9-0 win for the Sharks with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 win against Myrtil at No. 2.
