th-ranked Rollins Tars, the No. 24 Nova Southeastern women's tennis team saw its comeback fall just short, 5-4, at the Bert Martin Tennis Complex in Winter Park, Fla. on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES:
- The Tars took an early 2-0 lead after a default at No. 3 and an 8-2 win at No. 1.
- Ana Navas and Isabella Lowrey did however prevent the sweep with a nail-biting, 9-7 win over Katie Dyson and Teresa Kaiser at No. 2.
SINGLES
- With the Sharks entering singles play with only four available players, Rollins extended its lead to 4-1 with empty slots at No. 5 and 6.
- The Tars would later claim the match with a win at No. 3.
- The Sharks would still play on, though, picking up wins in the last three singles matches.
- In her first match as a nationally-ranked player in NCAA Division II, No. 32 Navas knocked off Fabiana Vitanza in the top-flight, 6-4, 6-0.
- Also competing in her first ranked match, Daniella Obando picked up the victory at No. 2 after her opponent retired in the second set.
- Lowrey secured the final point of the afternoon for the Sharks with a come-from-behind win over Carlye Goldman, 3-6, 6-4, 10-6.
NEAGLE'S NOTES
"This team has dealt with more adversity than any team I have coached," said head coach
Doug Neagle. "We barely lost to a tough conference opponent with only four players. We are all getting better every day and we learn from every match we play."
