HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Following a sluggish start in their season opener, the Sharks flipped the script Saturday when House turned a stolen pass into the match's first score at the 1:45 mark.
- The early goal was the just the start of what ultimately resulted in a dominant display from start to finish for Nova Southeastern. Still holding onto the 1-0 edge in the 24th minute, Holman converted a feed from fellow freshman Morgan Masters for her first career goal.
- A mere 1:06 later, it was Masters finding the back of the net to extend the Sharks' lead to a comfortable 3-0 margin.
- It appeared Nova Southeastern would enter the break with the 3-0 lead until Holman cashed in with her second goal of the afternoon just 15 seconds before the halftime whistle.
- With the win already in hand, House added a late score for good measure in the 80th minute before the defense preserved the impressive clean sheet down the stretch.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Keeper Sarah Aikens collected her first career victory in her first collegiate start Saturday.
