LAKELAND, Fla. – Competition wrapped on Monday at the ITA South Regional Championships, capping an extremely successful opening fall weekend for Nova Southeastern women's tennis. The Sharks finished the event with a 13-6 record in singles and 4-2 doubles mark as senior
Ana Navas finished the tournament in the singles final.
"The Sharks had a great start to the year," third-year head coach
Doug Neagle said. "It's nice seeing two of our players in the final four of a 64-field draw in the toughest region in DII. We also had a doubles team in the final four of that 32 draw. Coach Albers and myself saw a lot of positives and a lot of things we need to work on. We need to continue working every day to improve. It's nice now to have five weeks to train before our next tournament."
