Doubles Play
In No. 1 doubles, senior
Sarah Wardenburg (Waikato, New Zealand) and sophomore
Natalie Espinal (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) earned a 6-4 victory over Florida Southern's Minnie Kim and Laura Vetter, Meanwhile, in No. 2 doubles,
Daniela Obando (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and
Isabella Lowrey (Miami, Fla.) topped FSC's Magda Stepnik and Lola Asis, 6-3.
Singles Play
In singles play, the Sharks dominated the lower flights, with sophomore transfer
Celia Montero Estevan (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) earning a 6-1. 7-6 (7) victory over Asis in the third flight, Wardenburg topping Stepnik, 7-6 (2), 6-2 at No. 4 and freshman
