HOW IT HAPPENED:

TOP 5TH | After four innings of scoreless play, the Sharks were the first to reach the board as two hit by pitches and a single by Stephanie Wang loaded the bases, setting the next batter, Kayla Kight, up for success. Kight doubled to left center, and along with an error by the Spartans, allowed the three buserunners to score. After a Sydney Lageyre fly out, Kight capitalized on an error by UT's pitcher, scoring for a 4-0 NSU lead.

BOTTOM 5TH | With two outs and runners on first and second, Cristina Clauberg singled to second, scoring one run before an error by the Sharks allowed another to score to bring the deficit to two runs, 4-2.

BOTTOM 6TH | The Spartans stole the game away from NSU in the bottom half of the sixth inning, taking a 6-4 lead off RBI singles by Lexie Chevalier and Clauberg, while also taking advantage of a wild pitch and another Sharks error.
