TAMPA, Fla. – After falling 6-4 in the series opener on Friday evening, the Tampa Spartans took two from the Nova Southeastern Sharks on Saturday afternoon, earning the series sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
BOTTOM 6TH | After five scoreless innings, the Spartans tallied all three of their runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Spartans took advantage of a throwing error by NSU to tally one run before putting runners on the corners, bringing home another run on an RBI-single. Tampa's third and final run came from another error by the Sharks, giving them their 3-0 winning score.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
BOTTOM 2ND | The Spartans took a 1-0 lead in the second as S Balmer singled through the left side, scoring Mackenzie Allen.
BOTTOM 6TH | With two outs and runners on second and third, Tampa scored their final two runs on a M Makaleigh Dooley single to right, earning their eventual 3-0 victory.

- Today's two losses bring the overall series between Tampa and Nova Southeastern to 32-25 in favor of the Spartans.
