FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Volleyball team returned home to the Shark tank and hosted the Barry Buccaneers on Tuesday evening from Rick Case Arena. NSU was defeated by Barry in three-sets (17-25, 24-26, 15-25).

HOW IT HAPPENED
· Kills from Taylor Stockman, Olivia Aniol, Julia Bernardes, and Kate Mihacevich kept the Sharks in set one for a bit, but the Buccaneers ran away with it, winning the set 25-17.
· Set two saw a lot of back-and-forth between the Sharks and Buccaneers. The Sharks forced a Buccaneers timeout after scoring four of five consecutive points. The points came from kills by Taylor Stockman, Madison Cook, Jordan Chessar, and Olivia Aniol.
· After kills from Kate Mihacevich and Taylor Stockman to tie set two at 24-24, the Buccaneers scored two points back-to-back to take set two 26-24.
· The Sharks took an early 9-6 lead in the third set thanks to a kill from Taylor Stockman and a service ace from Madison Cook.
· The Sharks began to rally late with back-to-back kills from Olivia Aniol and Kate Mihacevich, but it was not enough to take down the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers win set three 25-15, winning the match 3-0.

The Sharks are back in action on Friday night at 7:00pm as they travel to Tampa to take on the Spartans.
