MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced the Players of the Week for the week of November 27 – December 3, on Monday afternoon. Nova Southeastern Sharks student-athlete Shane Hunter (Men's Basketball) earned honors following his performances this past week.    

Hunter captures Defensive Player of the Week for 13 blocks across Nova Southeastern's wins against Lynn (99-74) and Barry (125-98). The senior from Parkland, Florida, registered a game-high seven blocks and five defensive rebounds in NSU's conference opener against Lynn. He followed with a game-high six blocks, a steal, and five defensive rebounds at Barry. Offensively, the forward scored 39 points and pulled down three offensive rebounds during the Sharks' 2-0 week.
