INDIANAPOLIS, IN. – The 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving National Championships began on Tuesday evening from the IUPUI Natatorium. The top-ranked Nova Southeastern Women's Swimming team made an immediate statement, taking home the National Championship in the 800-freestyle relay – the first event of the championship meet.
Emilia Ronningdal,
Ilaria Murzilli,
May Lowy and
Emily Trieschmann set a new meet record with a time of 7:13.65.
The Sharks Men's Swimming team placed seventh in the event, as the team of
Thomas Flower,
Jarryd Baxter,
Olle Williamsson and
Luca Alessandrini finished with a time of 6:28.42
