MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's Golf team concluded play at the Sunshine State Conference Championships on Tuesday afternoon. Another strong showing secured a third-place finish for NSU (-10) in the three-round tournament. Individually, the Sharks were led by a pair of T-3rd place finishers in Will O'Neill and Mike Hay (-8).

Will O'Neill (-8) dominated the final round, recording par or better on 17 of 18 holes along with five birdies. At the end of the tournament, the graduate transfer finished in T-3rd place with a score of -8.
Mike Hay (T-3rd) struggled in the front nine (+1) but fought back with four birdies on the back nine of the final round. After three rounds, the senior shot -8, good for T-3rd place in the tournament.
Joseba Torres (+1) recorded par or better on the first six holes of the final round, but six bogeys put Torres at +3 on the day. After the third round, the junior finished tied for 18th place with a score of +1.
Josep Serra (35th) shot +5 on the front nine but a dominant -4 performance on the back nine helped Serra shoot +1 in the final round. At the end of the SSC tournament, the sophomore shot +5 and finished in 35th place.
Daniel Celestino (+13) shot +8 in round three after recording a pair of double bogeys and six bogeys. At the conclusion of three rounds, Celestino earned a T-44th place finish with a score of +13.

The Sharks will return to the course on Wednesday, May 10 in the NCAA South Region Championship at the Grande Oaks Golf Club.
