Sharks Women's Basketball Signs Jess Moors

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Women's Basketball team continues to add pieces to its roster, as Jess Moors has committed to the Sharks, announces Head Coach LeAnn Freeland-Curry.

"Jess is eager to get more of an opportunity to play. She is an athletic, aggressive guard with great length, which will pose a matchup issue for our opponents," said Freeland-Curry. "Jess is coming to NSU with glowing recommendations from Colorado State Assistant Women's Basketball Coach, Rico Burkett. Coach Rico was helpful in the recruiting process by sharing his thoughts about Jess as a player and person. He strongly believes that Jess will thrive for our program at NSU, because of her work ethic, determination and coachability. I'm confident Jess will thrive in our system. Our coaching staff and players are excited to announce Jess Moors is a Shark."

Moors, a guard, transfers from Colorado State after red-shirting during the 2022-23 season.

Moors will be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Psychology and carries a 3.6 grade point average from Colorado State.

Nova Southeastern Women's Basketball will return to the court in the fall of 2023. To stay up-to-date on the Sharks, be sure to follow on Instagram and Twitter at NSU_WBasketball.
