VALDOSTA, GA. - Following the first two rounds of the First Federal Southern Collegiate tournament, the No. 18 Nova Southeastern Sharks Men's Golf team (-11/282/283) sits in first place and holds a six stroke lead on the field. Joseba Torres (T8/71/70) and Mike Hay (T8/69/72) lead NSU as the duo sits inside the top-10.

Results 

• In his first round, Mike Hay totaled 11 pars and closed his opening 18 holes with three birdies across the final six holes, ending the round at three-under. 
• Hay followed with three birdies in his second round, finishing the day with a 72 and ended the first two rounds inside the top-10. 
• Joseba Torres nearly completed a bogey-free first round, totaling three birdies and 14 pars, but a double bogey on 12, made him finish with a 71. 
• Torres ended the day with five birdies in his second round, including two over his final three holes, finishing the day with a 70 and inside the top-10. 
• Jorge Berea, following a bogey on his first hole, parred 7-of-9 holes and added a birdie on the back-nine. Following the turn, Berea tallied an eagle on two, and finished the front nine and the round at one-under.
• Berea parred each of his first four holes to start the second round, finishing his day with 12 pars, two birdies and an eagle in his final round. Berea (-2) sits tied for 11th following the first day of competition. 
• WIll McGhie (T16/-1/E) totaled three birdies across his first round, adding 12 pars. In his second round, McGhie added another pair of birdies, posting a 72, and ended the day inside the top-20.
• Ivan Ponsdomenech (T21/+2/-2) added three birdies for NSU in his first round. He followed with five birdies in the second round, finishing the round two-under and the day inside the top-25.
