SAINT LEO, Fla. – The #17 Nova Southeastern University Men's Golf team completed play at the Saint Leo invitational by finishing in third place (-21/351/359/354).
Ivan Ponsdomenech (-10) finished top-3 individually and
Bruno Marques (-8) placed inside the top-10.

- Ivan Ponsdomenech (-10/68/70/68) began his tournament by recording three consecutive pars, adding three birdies as he approached the turn, on the back nine Ponsdomenech strung together four birdies and three pars to close the round. In the second round Ponsdomenech tallied a birdie and six pars on the front nine. Ponsdomenech carried over some fantastic momentum into the beck nine, shooting bogey free with three birdies. In the final round Ponsdomenech collected an eagle on the second hole with three birdies and 13 pars through the round, including 15 consecutive holes of bogey free golf, as he finished the tournament 10-under and in third place.
- Bruno Marques (-8/69/71/68) opened his tournament by shooting even through the first nine holes with a birdie, on the back nine Marques found his stride as he added four birdies and four pars to his total. In round two Marques added five birdies and 11 pars to his total, including a streak of six consecutive holes of bogey free golf. In the final round Marques put together his best golf of the tournament, opening with six consecutive holes without a bogey and a pair of birdies, just before hitting the turn Marques added an eagle to his total. On the back nine Marques carried over his success with three birdies and four pars, as he finished the tournament eight-under and in sixth place.
- Elias Mardeni (-3/71/71/71) totaled a pair of birdies and five pars on the front nine of his opening round, on the back nine Mardeni shot bogey free while adding two birdies to his total. In the second round Mardeni collected five birdies and nine pars, finishing the round with five consecutive pars. Mardeni began his final round with a pair of birdies and four pars on the front nine, following the turn Mardeni rattled off a flawless back nine with four birdies, finishing the tournament three-under.
- Jorge Berea (+2/72/72/74) began play in his first round with a birdie and six pars, on the back nine Berea played flawlessly and added a birdie on the seventeenth, totaling 15 consecutive holes of par or better shooting. In the second round Berea added four birdies to his total with 10 pars. Berea closed out the tournament by collecting four birdies and eight pars, as he finished two-over.
- Rodrigo Huerta (+3/71/75/73) started his tournament very quickly with five consecutive holes of par or better shooting that included an eagle on the third hole, totaling three birdies and seven pars through the remainder of the round. In his second round Huerta added a pair of birdies and 11 pars. Huerta began his final round with three birdies and four pars on the front nine, and added a birdie and five pars on the back nine, as he finished the tournament three-over.
