EATONTON, Ga. - The 18th ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men's Golf team played the first two rounds of the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Georgia College & State University, on Monday. NSU (T9/+23/292/291) is inside the top-10, while Jorge Berea (T6/+2/72/70) and Will McGhie (T12/+3/72/71) rank inside the top-15 of the standings.

Jorge Berea began the tournament by recording a par on six consecutive holes, adding three birdies in the first round, and posting a 72. Berea followed with five birdies in the second round, finishing the day with a 70 and jumped 13 spots up the leaderboard.
Will McGhie started play with five straight pars, before a double bogey on hole two. McGhie then followed with pars on 5-of-6 holes, adding a birdie on five, and closed his first round with a 72. 
McGhie added another pair of birdies, along with 13 pars, in his second round, finishing the day inside the top-12 of the standings. 
Mike Hay and Ivan Ponsdomenech ended the first day of action both tied for 48th, as both Sharks tallied a +9. 
Joseba Torres finished the first two rounds at +13.
