FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nova Southeastern Women's Soccer Standout Stefane Rosa signs professional contract with the Santos Futebol Clube.  

In just two seasons at NSU, Rosa has cemented herself as one the best goalkeepers in program history. The Brazilian finished her illustrious career ranked in the Sharks top 10 in career saves, shutouts, goals against average, and save percentage. Not to mention, during the 2023 campaign, she also broke the NSU single season shutouts record (8).  Rosa earned a selection to the 2022 All-SSC First Team, where she finished the season with an impressive 89 saves. Her stellar defensive play led NSU to back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances, including a spot in the Sharks first NCAA South Region Championship game since the 2019 season.  

"We asked Stefane what her goals were, and her response was certain, "I'm going pro", said Head Coach Amy Vaughan. "The moment we got her on the grass, there was no denying her quality in between the sticks. We could not be happier for her, the staff at NSU have no doubt that she will excel at Santos FC and we are extremely excited to see her career get started!"
