FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced the 2025 Division II Preseason All-South Region First-Team, No. 22 Nova Southeastern had two honorees as Boris Peña and Justin Wachs garnered recognition. Last season, across 45 games, Wachs led the Sharks in hits (59) and runs (45), while finishing tied for second in home runs (7), second in runs batted in (35), batting average (0.353). and total bases (93), and third in doubles (9). Pena hit a team-high nine home runs, while driving in 38 runs and collecting 96 total bases. Pena finished third on the team in batting average (0.346), hits (56) and doubles (11).  

No. 22 Nova Southeastern, under the direction of Head Coach Adrian Morales, begin the 2025 season on Friday, January 31st, taking on No. 3 Catawba at the NSU Baseball Complex.
