Macy, Sharks Announce 2025-26 Schedule

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - New head women's basketball coach Heather Macy officially announced Nova Southeastern's 2025-26 schedule. The new campaign starts on November 14th, as the Sharks travel to Daytona Beach for the GSC-SSC Challenge. They will take on Auburn University Montgomery on November 14th and Montevallo on November 15th.

"Our non-conference schedule may not perfectly align with the youth of our basketball team, but it will be a valuable test early in the season," said Macy. "With 15 newcomers, there will undoubtedly be challenges — but also incredible opportunities for growth. The more time this group spends on the court together, the stronger and more cohesive we'll become. I'm truly excited to introduce this team and our staff to the Davie community. We're fully committed to this journey and ready to embrace all the twists and turns that come with it."

The Sharks will host Florida National for their home opener on Tuesday, November 18th. That game will be the first of a seven-game homestand, as the Sharks will then host Tampa to kick off SSC play on November 22nd and St. Thomas University on Tuesday, November 25th. NSU will welcome Seattle Pacific University to town on November 28th and Georgian Court on November 29th for the Sharks' Thanksgiving Tournament. SSC play will resume when the Sharks host Barry University on December 3rd and Embry-Riddle on December 6th to conclude the homestand.

NSU will travel to SSC foe Palm Beach Atlantic on December 13th before returning home for another two-game homestand, hosting Elizabeth City State (December 19th) and Lincoln University (December 20th) from the CIAA for the Holiday Hoops Classic. The Sharks will travel to Eckerd College on New Year's Eve before focusing on the spring portion of their schedule.

The Sharks will start the New Year by playing host to Florida Southern on January 3rd and traveling to Rollins a week later on January 10th. They'll host Florida Tech on January 14th, before two road games at Lynn University (January 17th) and Saint Leo (January 21st). NSU will have back-to-back home games against Palm Beach Atlantic (January 24th) and Eckerd College (January 28th), before road games at Tampa (January 31st) and at Barry (February 4th).

February will see NSU host Lynn on February 11th before traveling to Florida Tech on Valentine's Day and to Embry-Riddle on February 18th. The Sharks will host Saint Leo on February 21st and host Rollins on February 25th for the regular season home finale. The regular season will conclude on the road, as the Sharks take on Florida Southern on February 28th before turning their attention to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament. The SSC Tournament will begin on March 3rd, with the higher seed hosting, and the NCAA Tournament will commence on March 13th.
