SARASOTA, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Rowing team continued action at the FIRA Championship on Saturday at Nathan Benderson Park. NSU competed in seven races, winning both the 26 FIRA Womens 2x and 36 FIRA Womens Lightweight 4+ boats.

Beginning competition at 8:30 a.m., the women's DII Varsity 4+ boat featuring Amanda Bogle, Charlotte Johannesen, Chrysta Snair, V Robinson, and Anaiya Person (coxswain) finished in third with a time of 8:21.23.
In the women's DII Varsity 2x boat featuring Margianna Petridi and Milly Murphy finished first with a time of 8:16.59.
In the women's DII Varsity Lightweight 4+ boat featuring Julianna Becerra, Ysabel Ribero, Chrysta Snair, Mollie Ireland, and Anaiya Person (coxswain) finished first with a time of 8:15.32.
In the women's DII Varsity 8+ boat featuring Mollie Ireland, Ysabel Ribero, Jordan Maruskin, Milly Murphy, Hattie Gump, Emma Hickey, Kayla Mullings, and Daphne de Sedas (coxswain) finished in fourth with a time of 7:22.69.
In the women's DII Varsity 2 boat featuring V Robinson and Julianna Becerra finished in second with a time of 9:24.78.
In the women's DII JV 4+ boat featuring Triumph Perry, Nahiara Montenegro, Sophia Florez Venegas, Sadie Adamo, and Daphne de Sedas (coxswain) finished in sixth with a time of 9:07.84.
Nova Southeastern's final event of the FIRA Championships, the Frosh/Novice 4+ the boat featuring Kayla Mullings, Hattie Gump, Milly Murphy, Margianna Petridi, and Daphne de Sedas(coxswain) finished in second with a time of 8:13.59.
