MIAMI, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Rowing team continued action at the Miami International Raggata on Saturday at Miami Rowing Club. NSU competed in two races, winning in the Women's Collegiate 8+ boat.

Beginning competition at 10:33 a.m., the Women's Collegiate 8+ boat featuring Margianna Petridi, Emma Hickey, Chrysta Snair, Hattie Gump, Mollie Ireland, Ysabel Ribeiro, Kayla Mullings, Milly Murphy, and Daphne de Sedas (coxswain) finished first with a time of 5:12.787.
Nova Southeastern's final event of the Miami International Reggata, the Women's Collegiate 4+ boat featuring Amanda Bogle, Charlotte Johannesen, Jordan Maruskin, V Robinson, and Triumph Perry (coxswain) finished in second with a time of 6:12.772.

Coach Nicholas Iliadis-"Today the sharks competed in the Miami International Regatta. It was great to test our speed against the University of Miami and come away with some great results. Conditions today left much to be desired but the Sharks weathered the storm and came away with a win in the varsity 8+ and a close second in the varsity 4+. On to the next race!"
