ORLANDO, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference announced its weekly award winners for the week of May 4-May 10, and one Shark was highlighted. Emilio Gonzalez was named Baseball Player of the Week.

Gonzalez powered Nova Southeastern offensively in the Sharks' three-game sweep of Lynn. He batted .429 (6-for-14) with three home runs, one double, six runs-batted in, and four runs scored, delivering a home run in all three contests. Gonzalez became the first Shark to homer in each game of a three-game series since 2022 while recording multi-hit performances in all three outings.
