NORMAN, Okla. – Nova Southeastern men's golfers
Ivan Ponsdomenech and
Jorge Berea have each been named to the 2025-26 NCAA Division II Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar Team the organization announced Monday.
It's the 10
th and 11
th such honors in program history for NSU men's golf including a second such honor for
Jorge Berea.
Berea becomes the just the second Shark men's golfer to become a two-time GCAA Scholar All-American and the first since Oscar Lengden did it in 2013-14 and 2014-15.
Ponsdomenech adds onto his season accolades after being named to the PING GCAA All-Region team.
Both Ponsdomenech and Berea were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Region Team back in June.
NSU men's golf went on a historic postseason run including winning the South/Southeast Regional Tournament for the first time since 2015 and marking the second trip to the NCAA National Championship under head coach
Joey Marino.
