ORLANDO, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference announced its weekly award winners for the week of August 27-31, with Nova Southeastern setter Abbie Roth named the conference's Setter of the Week.

Roth put together three double-doubles in four matches, helping the Sharks to a 4-0 record with wins over Middle Georgia, UNC Pembroke and Palm Beach Atlantic at the 2026 NSU Shark Invitational.

She also became the first Shark in 25 matches to record a 50-10 double-double recording 51 assists and 13 digs on Friday against UNCP, becoming the first to do so since Roth herself early in her freshman season.

Over the four match tournament, Roth recorded 160 assists (11.43 assists-per-set) while adding nine kills, five service aces and four blocks.

Additionally, she came four kills shy of a rare triple-double in the Saturday match with UNC Pembroke recording six kills, 47 assists and 23 digs.

Roth and the Sharks will be back in action this weekend in Kenosha, Wis. at the Parkside Hampton Inn Invitational where they will take on Hillsdale, Parkside, Jamestown and Purdue Northwest.
