Welcome to Nova Southeastern University Athletics Compliance!

This site is intended to provide our NSU athletics community with the latest information regarding NCAA Division II compliance regulations, and to serve as a useful tool to assist with practicing shared responsibility. We hope to promote a better understanding of the resources and functions of the Compliance Office as a means to strengthen the mission of Nova Southeastern Athletics.

Mission Statement

Nova Southeastern University is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct as well as excellence in athletic performance. The mission of the Athletics Compliance Office is to uphold the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Sunshine State Conference (SSC) and Nova Southeastern University. In fulfilling this charge, the Sharks Compliance Office invokes the principles of shared responsibility, institutional control and comprehensive rules education to coordinate a proactive and responsive NCAA compliance program. The Athletics Compliance Office serves as a resource center concerning NCAA and conference rules and regulations and compliance matters. The primary focus is to function within the realm of the university's compliance structure, coordinating, monitoring and verifying compliance with all NCAA and conference requirements, and to educate athletic department staff members, student-athletes, and various constituencies of the university and community regarding NCAA regulations.
