Julie LeMaire is pleased to announce the addition of eight newcomers to the 2017 softball roster.
"We are very fortunate to announce the addition of these eight young women to the future of the Shark Softball program," said LeMaire.
"The athleticism and versatility of this class as a whole is something we are very excited to have in order to begin building a rich tradition of softball here. The passion and desire these ladies have to compete for Nova Southeastern softball is going to be an integral part of our future success."
Mary Acosta
Hometown: Kissimmee, Fla.
Position: 1B/Outfield

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Competed for the Gateway Panthers in softball for four years, soccer for two and weightlifting for one, all at the varsity level… boasted a .673 batting average and was named Most Valuable Player in her senior season on the softball team… earned a spot on the Orange Belt Conference First Team twice… was named team captain for three years in a row… earned the coaches award as a freshman and sophomore… played club for the Stealers West Gold and was named team captain.
