FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (January 10, 2007) - Barry University guard Princess Bailey finished two steals short of a triple-double as the Barry Buccaneers (7-5, 3-0 SSC) defeated the Nova Southeastern Sharks (3-11, 2-2) by a score of 55-43 on Wednesday night.

NSU shot 39 percent from the field for the game while Barry shot 39 percent on 25-64 from the field.

For the Bucs, Bailey would score 14 points to go along with 10 rebounds and eight steals while center Alex Fernander scored 17 points and snatched 11 boards.

NSU's Jennifer Havens (Sr., Ontario, Ore.) registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Amber Bishko (Jr., Orlando, Fla.) added 11 points.

NSU will be back in action on Saturday, January 10 as they will travel to St. Petersburg, Fla. to face the Eckerd College Tritons at 2pm. Fans will be able to listen to the game on the NSU Athletics Audiocast Network.
