FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The No. 13 Nova Southeastern University women's basketball team looks to rebound Saturday afternoon against the Barry Buccaneers, beginning at 2 p.m. in Miami Shores, Florida.

The Sharks (11-3, 3-2 SSC) saw their six-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday at the hands of No. 10 Rollins, 74-61. Jasmine Wilkins (R-Sr., Miami) notched her second double-double in three games, leading the squad with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Despite going 5-of-9 from the field, her season shooting percentage actually dropped to 65.9, now second in all of the nation, just two-tenths of a percent behind Merrimack's Aria Johnson at 66.1.

Molly Blomer (Jr., West Chester, Ohio) added four 3-pointers for 12 points against the Tars, the sixth time this season she's had three or more in a game. She's made 31 total, 2.2 per game, to rank fourth in the league, and her percentage from behind the arc is now up to 42.5, sixth-highest conference-wide and 42nd in the NCAA. Point guard Monaye Merritt (R-Jr., Philadelphia) had seven steals Wednesday night, pushing her season average to 3.1, first in the SSC and 17th in the nation. Her 4.6 assists per game is second and 42nd on those lists.

Barry (9-6, 1-3 SSC) was upended Wednesday as well, by the still-undefeated Florida Tech Panthers, 75-58. The Bucs have dropped their last three SSC games; in addition to FIT, they also fell to Florida Southern and Rollins.

Jackie Perez leads Barry in scoring (12.8), assists (4.1, fifth in the SSC), and makes a team-best 2.8 3-pointers per game at a clip of 42 percent (second and seventh respectively in the conference). Also scoring in double digits in scoring is Nyjah Porcher (10.7), with Amra Elezovic just a tick under at 9.6. Porcher is the team's top rebounder at 6.1 while Elezovic ranks fourth in the league in free throw percentage at 81.8.

Last season, the Sharks swept the home-and-home series, winning 78-76 in Fort Lauderdale (Jan. 15) and 86-73 in Miami Shores (Feb. 19). All-time, it's a two-game NSU advantage, 18-16, with the Sharks winning the last three and four of the last five.
