FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern women's basketball team looks to bounce back this Wednesday after snapping its four-game win streak by travelling to Winter Park, Fla. to take on the Rollins College Tars at 5:30 p.m.
 
Earlier this season, the Sharks used their historically strong defense to earn a 62-48 win over the Tars in the Rick Case Arena. The 48 points that the Sharks held Rollins to were a season low for the Tars and the 26 turnovers committed were the most the Tars have made this season. Christen Prasse led the team with 14 points on 5-of-12 from the field and 2-of-4 from 3-point range, and recorded eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks. She was joined in double digits by Katie Barnard, who scored 11 points while bringing down five rebounds and four steals. Samantha Logan collected 10 rebounds coming off the bench for the first time as a Shark, and tallied seven points with three assists.
 
In the loss for the Tars, Jasmine Stone led with 11 points and four rebounds while Julia Ingler added 10 points, four rebounds and a pair of assists.
 
The Tars are winners of their last seven in a row with two of those victories coming against nationally ranked teams. On the road at league-leader Eckerd last Saturday, Rollins emerged with a 69-54 win. Ingler and Marie Gilbert lead the Rollins offense, both with 10.5 points a game, while Tianna Rosser leads the team with 7.1 rebounds a game.
 
Rollins is ahead in the all-time series against NSU, 23-15, but has lost the last five in a row. The last time the two teams met in Winter Park, the Sharks pulled out a 70-64 win in overtime.
