FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The eighth-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men's Golf wrapped up play at the NSU Shark Invitational on Tuesday afternoon from the Grande Oaks course. Following a two-hole playoff, Will O'Neil earned the individual crown going eight-under for the tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Following an incredible –8 in the second round on Monday, O'Neill sat atop the leaderboard into the final round.

O'Neill began his day with two consecutive pars before adding a birdie on three. O'Neill bogeyed four, six, seven, nine and ten. Following the rough stretch, O'Neill birdied 11-13 and added his sixth birdie of the round on 15.

O'Neill clinched the tournament title after a two-hole playoff against Ian Aldaronda (Embry-Riddle).

Michael Hay jumped 12 spots in the final standings, earning a 17th place finish for the tournament, with a –2 on Tuesday.

Emanuel Olofsson also finished in a tie for 17th, recorded a +3 on Tuesday, and recorded two birdies to his line.

Joseba Torres shot +4 on Tuesday, while Daniel Celestino and Josep Serra ended their tournament at +5.

The Sharks return to the course to compete at the Copperhead Championship at Innisbrook on Monday, Oct., 17.
