MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The #11 Nova Southeastern University Men's Golf team competed at the 2026 Battle at the Lakes (+13/296/288/293) finishing tied for sixth place. Bruno Marques (-1) finished tied for 13th.

RESULTS

- Bruno Marques (-1/76/69/70) opened the tournament with a solid first round, carding nine pars and three birdies to finish at 4-over 76. In the second round, he stayed steady from the start with 15 pars and three birdies, turning in the best round of the tournament at 3-under 69. In the final round, Marques continued the strong play by recording 12 pars and four birdies on the way to a 2-under 70. Finished the tournament at 1-under overall.
- Elias Mardeni (+3/72/74/73) opened the tournament with a consistent first round, recording nine pars and five birdies to finish at even-par 72. In the second round, Mardeni stayed steady throughout the day with 14 pars and a birdie, adding up to a 2-over 74. In the final round, he finished the event with nine pars and four birdies, closing with a 1-over 73. Ended the tournament at 3-over overall.
- Rodrigo Huerta (+9/74/76/75) opened the tournament with 14 pars and one birdie in the first round, finishing the round at 2-over 74. In the second round, Huerta stayed steady with 11 pars and two birdies, battling through a few bogeys to post a 4-over 76. In the final round, he added 12 pars and two birdies while closing the event with a 3-over 75. Finished the tournament at 9-over overall.
- Ivan Ponsdomenech (+9/80/69/76) opened the tournament recording 13 pars and a birdie, finishing at 8-over 80. In the second round, Ponsdomenech bounced back with nine pars, five birdies,and an eagle, turning in a strong 3-under 69 and moving up the leaderboard. In the final round, he posted nine pars and three birdies, finishing the event at 4-over 76. Ended the tournament at 9-over overall.
- Jorge Berea (+10/74/77/75) opened the tournament with a steady first round, recording 13 pars and two birdies to finish at 2-over 74. In the second round, Berea added 13 pars, battling through a tougher round to post a 5-over 77. In the final round, he closed the event with 10 pars, three birdies, finishing with a 3-over 75. Ended the tournament at 10-over overall.
