PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University Men's Golf team opened play in the Copperhead Championship at Innisbrook Golf Resort on Monday morning. The Sharks finished day one in fifth place shooting six-over as a team, with Bruno Marques leading the Sharks at one-under inside the top-10 individually.

- Bruno Marques (71/70) opened the day with eight total pars on the front nine and seven consecutive as he hit the turn, Marques carried that momentum into the back nine tallying two birdies in an even opening round. Marques collected three birdies and 13 pars during his second round to finish the day one-under.
- Ivan Ponsdomenech (72/71) began the tournament with four birdies and 10 pars during his first round. Ponsdomenech opened his second round by shooting eight consecutive pars or better, collecting two birdies as he hit the turn, adding another birdie and six pars to close the day at one-over.
- Elias Mardeni (73/71) started the day with a fantastic rhythm, shooting bogey free through the front nine with a birdie, Mardeni added six pars to his round one score on the back nine. Mardeni hit his stride in the middle of the second round, collecting five birdies and two pars in consecutive fashion, he finished the day with four consecutive pars to finish day one of the tournament at two-over.
- Will McGhie (73/73) tallied four birdies and nine pars in his first round of the tournament. McGhie added three birdies and 10 pars to his total for the day, as he finished four-over for the day.
- Lucas Albert (79/77) collected three total birdies and 19 pars in his two rounds, as he finished day one 14-over.
