INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Nova Southeastern Sharks traveled to UIndy for the first dual meet of the season on Friday afternoon. The women fell to the Greyhounds 152-139, while the men fell 241-50.

⦁ In Friday's session, the group of
Zsofia Kurdi,
Kristina Orban,
Maxine Egner and
Maya Esparza won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:32.15.

Hailey Williams won the 1000 free with a time of 10:18.09. Teammates
Ariana Valle (10:25.20),
Bree Buchanan (10:28.82) and
Estelle Bauer (10:31.94) finished behind one another to secure four top-five finishes for NSU.
⦁ Williams (5:03.75) and Valle (5:05.90) finished first and second again in the 500 free.

Kristina Orban won the 200 free with a time of 1:49:47, while teammates
Emilia Ronningdal (1:50.58) and
Harliai Curthoys-Davies (1:53.12) finished right behind her to secure three more top-three finishes.

Vika Kostromina won the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:02.36, and teammate
Stella Bushard came in second with a time of 2:06.54.

Kristina Orban (50.98) and
Zsofia Kurdi (51.28) finished first and second place respectively in the 100 free.
⦁ Ronningdal took home first place in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:04:59.

Eason Cormack placed second in the men's 1000 free with a time of 9:33.16 to lead the Sharks.
⦁ Cormack also finished second in the 500 free with a time of 4:37.37, while teammates
John Aegerter (4:43.88) and
Aidan Pflieger (4:44.5) finished fourth and fifth, respectively, to secure three top-five finishes.

Joshua Parry finished second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:53.22.
