ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The #12 Nova Southeastern University Women's Golf team finished in second place at the World Golf Invitational Classic (+28/383/374/381). Alexandra Remaklus (+4) and
Ariana Carvalho (+6) both placed inside the top-10.

- Alexandra Remaklus (+4/75/70/75) totaled a birdie and seven pars on the front nine in her opening round, on the back nine Remaklus added six pars to her total. In the second round Remaklus was sensational, shooting par on the first seven holes and added a birdie on hole nine, after the turn Remaklus shot bogey free for the remainder of the round with a pair of birdies. In the final round Remaklus started in great form with eight consecutive holes shooting par and added a birdie on hole six, on the back nine she added three birdies and a par, finishing the tournament four-over.
- Ariana Carvalho (+6/76/70/76) began her tournament by tallying three birdies and 10 pars through round one. In round two Carvalho had a fantastic run, opening the round with four pars and an eagle, before the turn Carvalho also added two birdies. On the back nine Carvalho added six pars and a birdie to her tally. In the final round Carvalho went through the front nine with eight consecutive pars, on the back nine she added a pair of birdies and four pars, finishing the tournament six-over.
- Maria Torres Lobato (+9/76/78/71) began her first round with a birdie and six pars through the front nine, on the back nine Torres Lobato added six pars and a birdie. In round two Torres Lobato totaled three birdies and seven pars. The final round was the best for Torres Lobato as she totaled five pars and three consecutive birdies on the front nine, carrying over that momentum into the back nine and adding six more pars and a birdie to her total, Torres Lobato finished nine-over for the tournament.
- Mei Chan (+10/71/75/80) opened the first round by shooting three birdies and five pars in consecutive fashion, on the back nine Chan added a birdie and six pars to her first round total. In round two Chan totaled two birdies and 11 pars. Chan added eight pars and a birdie in the third round, finishing the tournament 10-over.
- Sofia McGhie (+29/85/81/79) through her first round totaled eight pars. In round two McGhie added a birdie and 10 pars to her total. In the final round McGhie added 11 pars and a birdie, as she finished the tournament 29-over.

The Sharks will head to Lakeland for the Lady Moc Classic on February 23
