BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - The No. 6 Nova Southeastern Women's Golf team has gone back-to-back. The Sharks won their second consecutive Sunshine State Conference Championship on Tuesday afternoon at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Fla.

"Winning a Sunshine State Conference championship is never easy, and this group earned it the right way. I'm incredibly proud of how they competed, supported one another, and represented Nova Southeastern throughout the week," Nova Southeastern Interim Athletic Director Ryan Romero said. "To come away with both the team title and the individual championship speak to the culture this program has built over time. This is a special accomplishment for our student-athletes and coaching staff, and another great chapter in the history of Nova Southeastern University women's golf."
"I'm really proud of this team and how they competed all three rounds," Nova Southeastern Women's Golf head coach
Heather Wall said. "We knew it wasn't going to be easy and they stepped up to the challenge and never backed down. This is a special group going back-to-back in the toughest conference in the country. Alex (Remaklus) winning the individual title as a freshman is incredible.
